![**Help Wanted: Woodworking Shop Helper / Apprentice**
Woodies Woodshop is seeking a hard-working, reliable apprentice who genuinely wants to learn the craft.
We’re **not** looking for an experienced woodworker—we want someone eager to start from the ground up, flexible with tasks, and ready to grow with us.
**What you’ll do:**
- Assist with basic shop tasks (material handling, cleanup, prep work)
- Learn to use hand tools and power tools safely under guidance
- Help with assembly, sanding, finishing, and other production steps
- Take on more responsibility as you gain skills
**Details:**
- 20–30 hours per week (flexible scheduling, mostly [e.g., weekdays / M–F])
- Pay starts at $15–18/hr depending on attitude & reliability with room to increase as you learn
- Hands-on training provided—no prior experience required
- Small, friendly shop environment where hard work and a good attitude matter most
Ideal candidate:
- Reliable and shows up on time every time
- Physically able to lift at least 50 lbs and work on your feet all day
- Positive, coachable mindset—willing to listen, learn, and take direction
- Interested in woodworking (hobby experience or just curiosity is a big plus!)
- Detail-oriented and takes pride in doing things right
